A glimpse of what people are experiencing at Oak Hills...

A place to find grace (Shawn & Marcella, Stanley)
As a result of the grace-centered teaching at Oak Hills, we have begun to understand in a more profound way the depth of God’s unchanging love for us. Prior to attending Oak Hills, we never realized how much we thought of God as an angry boss instead of a loving Father. In light of His grace, we are now learning to serve Him with a child-like enthusiasm.

A place to be loved (Steph, Overland Park)
Finding Oak Hills has been an answer to prayer. I have experienced renewed hope and have grown as a result of the solid teaching and caring church family. They accept me as I am and reveal the wonder of God’s love.

A place to heal (Mark & Lisa, Paola)
We came to Oak Hills during a season of despair in our family life. Instead of being condemned and criticized for our weaknesses and sin, we were embraced. The Oak Hills family supported us through prayer, friendship, counsel and loving service. In this seemingly hopeless season, Oak Hills was a safe place to be honest and broken during our healing process.

A place to bring friends (Jeremiah & Mona, Merriam)
Oak Hills is an easy place to invite friends because of its strong teaching, warmth, and undying efforts to lovingly restore the broken. We have a place where anyone is welcome.

A place to worship (Jonathan & Lena, Blue Springs)
Oak Hills has become a haven of worship for us. The musicians that God has brought together are very gifted and focused on God-centered worship. We are thankful to have a church family that is open to worshipping the God of all grace freely. To God be the glory! Great things He is doing.

A place for your kids (Dave & Gerie, Overland Park)
We are thrilled to be a part of a church that is committed to children and youth. As the parents of two precious children, we are grateful to know that we have a church family that will remain committed to walk alongside us in the huge task of raising our children to know, love, and follow God.

Oak Hills Mission:
Oak Hills’ mission is to proclaim the whole Gospel to the whole person in our community and throughout the whole world, equipping individuals and families to learn to know and enjoy God; respond to Him through authentic worship and godly living; and lead others to do the same—all by the grace of God and all for His glory.
