The Grace of Giving
- All Grace Abounding to You
- Generous, Cheerful Giving Results
- All Glory to God!
Questions for Further Study or Group Discussion:
- Read 2 Corinthians 9:6-15. What stands out from this passage to you? What does Paul want to encourage the Corinthians to do?
- What are the “motivations” for cheerful giving? Or, in other words, what leads to or results in cheerful giving?
- Consider verse 8. What is Paul communicating in this verse? How does “sufficiency” or contentment impact giving?
- What results from Gospel-obeying giving (see verse 13)? Why is God glorified in and by our giving?
- What hinders generosity in your heart? What would encourage it?
Memory Verse of the Week:
2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. (ESV)
