OH, Youth! Day at Worlds of Fun

I wanted to remind you all that we are planning on going to Worlds of Fun in one week on July 10th. 

As a way of reminder the cost, if we order our tickets ahead of time, will be $45 per person. If we can get enough people planning to attend, we may be able to reduce that by a few dollars by securing their group rate (15 people or more). 

If you could, please let me know by Sunday, July 7th, if your child plans on attending. A simple email or text would be great! And, if you are able, I would appreciate it if you could pay me the $45 ahead of time, either tonight at the 4th of July party at the Mauk’s, or Sunday before or after service. You are welcome to pay by cash or check.

Your child is also welcome to bring some cash in order to get snacks or food while we are there, but as another option - they are also welcome to pack a lunch and some snacks of their own and I will bring a cooler that we can keep it all in in my van while we are there. You are allowed to leave the park and reenter later in the day so I plan on all of us at some point or another taking a lunch break in the picnic area outside of the park where we can eat lunch more affordably.

Our current plan is to meet at Oak Hills on the morning of the 10th around 9:15am, load up into our respective vehicles, and head out by 9:30am so that we can be there close to when they open at 10am. After I have a better idea of who all is going I will provide an eta for our return to Oak Hills that evening.
