A Return to Gathered Worship at Oak Hills

We will be returning to worshipping in person on June 7th in the sanctuary of Oak Hills. Here is video from Pastor Dale:

Services will be held at 9:00am and 10:45am with the livestreaming available during both services via Facebook Live.

Update July 3: Here is a list of further details of our plan:

  • Socially-Distanced Seating:
  • Every Other Row Open
  • At least three chairs in between family groups
  • Families groups are asked to maintain social distance from others while moving about in the building. Parents, please instruct your children to respect this space on Sunday mornings.
  • We ask that you wear a mask in accordance with Governor Kelly's order; extra masks are available in the lobby
  • Vulnerable/at-risk people are encouraged to stay home
  • Symptomatic people are asked to not attend
  • No nursery or Promiseland
  • No Self-Serve items in the lobby
  • Bulletins will be handed out
  • Communion elements will be handed out
  • Kids’ activity baskets (with new, fun activities) will be handed out
  • Worship Service is adapted to reduce risk of transmission:
  • Majority of congregational singing will be at the end of the service
  • Prepackaged communion kits will be used.
  • Cleaning Procedures Implemented
  • Hand sanitizer widely available
  • Children’s Sermon will continue
  • An offering box will be available in the back of the sanctuary
