Questions for Further Study or Group Discussion:

1. Read Hebrews 11:1-7. How do you define faith? Does everyone have faith (in something)?
2. The author does not mention Jesus in this passage. Can we understand faith apart from Christ? Would the author want us to do that? Explain.
3. How do Abel, Enoch, and Noah demonstrate faith? What are the outward signs of faith seen in their lives?
4. Consider verse 6. Why must faith include the belief that God rewards those who seek him?
5. Do you have faith? In what ways is your faith demonstrated in your life? How do you feed and grow your faith?
