Acts

A Call to Witness

Questions for Further Study or Group Discussion:

  1. Read Acts 1:1-11 What stands out to you from this passage?
  2. What in this passage is the same (in part) for us today as it was for the Apostles? What is different? How can we know this for sure?
  3. Where in this passage are we particularly challenged, motivated, encouraged and even comforted (when we fail) in our own habits of evangelism?
  4. What particular stumbling blocks stand in our way from sharing the gospel with those around us?
  5. What does the good news of the life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Christ mean to you personally?

Memory Verse of the Week:

1 Peter 3:15

But in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect. (ESV)
