Questions for Further Study or Group Discussion:

  1. Read Acts 4:1-22 What stands out to you from this passage?
  2. What do we learn about unbelief from the reaction of the Sadducees, rulers, elders, and teachers of the law in contrast to the reaction of the people?
  3. What is particularly troubling to the leaders about the apostles, and what link is there between this distress and their rejection of the gospel message?
  4. What evidence and arguments are used by Peter in his defense? What is the leaders’ response?
  5. Summarize. What do we learn about witness and ministry from this passage? Examine your hearts and our church in light of it?

Memory Verse of the Week:

Acts 4:12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (ESV)
