Praying at All Times
- The Grammar of Prayer
- The “All-ness” of Prayer
- The Goal of Prayer
Questions for Further Study or Group Discussion:
- Read Ephesians 6:10-20. What place does prayer have in relation with spiritual warfare? Taking up the whole armor of God?
- Consider the word “all” in verse 18. How does this word shape and direct our duty of prayer?
- Why does Paul ask for prayer? Why would he ask for prayer for boldness?
- Self-evaluate your habits of prayer. Where does “all” characterize your prayer? Where is “all” lacking? What adjustments do you need to make?
Memory Verse of the Week:
Ephesians 6:18 Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints. (ESV)
