Praying at All Times

  • The Grammar of Prayer
  • The “All-ness” of Prayer
  • The Goal of Prayer

Questions for Further Study or Group Discussion:

  1. Read Ephesians 6:10-20. What place does prayer have in relation with spiritual warfare? Taking up the whole armor of God?
  2. Consider the word “all” in verse 18. How does this word shape and direct our duty of prayer?
  3. Why does Paul ask for prayer? Why would he ask for prayer for boldness?
  4. Self-evaluate your habits of prayer. Where does “all” characterize your prayer? Where is “all” lacking? What adjustments do you need to make?

Memory Verse of the Week:

Ephesians 6:18  Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints. (ESV)
