- Why don’t the officers arrest Jesus? What does their response in verse 46 say about Jesus?
- What does Jesus mean by thirst? What is the root cause of thirst?
- Why is the “heart” at the center of Jesus’ promise in verse 38? Compare with Jesus’ teaching in Mark 7:20-23. How is the heart at the center of our thirst and need for salvation?
