  1. Read Colossians 1:24-29. These verses constitute one sentence in the Greek. What is the main point Paul wants to communicate in this sentence?
  2. In what way is Christ central to Paul’s ministry? Why is Christ central?
  3. What is maturity in Christ? What role do admonition and teaching have in the maturing process? (See Col. 3:16)
  4. Are you maturing in Christ? How do you know? In what areas do you still need to grow?
  5. Consider verse 29. What does Paul contribute to the ministry? What does God provide?
  6. For what do you toil?
