Questions for Further Study or Group Discussion:
- Read Daniel 12:1-13. The word “time” is prominent in this passage. To what does this word refer? Is time out of control? Why or why not?
- Compare verse 1 with Psalm 69:28 and Revelation 20:12-15. What is this book? Why is the existence of this book significant and encouraging?
- Verse 2 is one of the few explicit references to the resurrection in the Old Testament. Why is the resurrection so important to Christian faith and hope? Take into consideration 1 Corinthians 15:12-19.
- What are some truths and lessons you have learned from this study of Daniel? In what ways has this study of Daniel proven for you to be “profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness” (2 Tim. 3:16)?
Memory Verse of the Week:
1 Corinthians 15:56-57 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. (ESV)
