Questions for Further Study or Group Discussion:

  1. Read 2 Corinthians 8:1-9:15 (or, if you are short on time, 8:1-7 & 9:6-10). What catches your attention from this passage? What is unique about how Paul speaks about giving?
  2. In 8:4 Paul says the Macedonians were begging. For what were they begging? Why would they beg for this?
  3. What truth is Paul communicating in the proverb stating in 9:6? Have you seen this to be true in your life? How so?
  4. According to 9:7 how should we give? How are you doing in light of this verse?
  5. What is the promise of 9:8? How does this promise inspire us to give sacrificially?

Memory Verse of the Week:

2 Corinthians 9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work. (ESV)
