- The Glory of the Mountain
- The Walk of the Mountain
- The Paradox of the Mountain
Questions for Further Study or Group Discussion:
- Read Micah 4:1-13. Compare 3:12 with 4:1. Why is there such a stark contrast between these two verses? What brings about the change?
- What are the blessings of the mountain of the Lord (v. 1-4)? Are these past, present, or future? Why?
- What does it mean to “walk in the name of the Lord”? What does this look like for us today?
- What does God delight to gather the lame, the outcast, and the afflicted? What hope does he promise them in verses 7 & 8?
- Verses 9-13 speak about threats to God’s people. Why are they not real threats?
Memory Verse of the Week:
Micah 4:5 For all the peoples walk each in the name of its god, but we will walk in the name of the Lord our God forever and ever. (ESV)
