- God’s Sovereignty in Preservation
- God’s Sovereignty in Judgment
- God’s Sovereignty in Salvation
Questions for Further Study or Group Discussion:
- Read Genesis 7:1-24. What catches your attention from this passage? Why?
- In what ways do you see God working in this passage? In what ways is Noah working in this passage?
- Consider Hebrews 1:3 and Colossians 1:17. What do these passages say about God’s preservation of creation? How should we understand natural disasters in light of God’s preservation?
- Read Romans 8:18-25. Why does creation suffer judgment? What hope is there for creation?
- Who is saved in the flood narrative? How is he (are they) saved? Who will be saved from final judgment? How will they be saved?
Memory Verse of the Week:
Acts 4:12 And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. (ESV)
