- Read Genesis 9:1-7. What catches your attention from this passage? Why?
- Verses 1 and 7 serve as an inclusion for this section. What is repeated and why is it so important?
- Compare 9:1-4 with Genesis 1:28-30. What is similar? What is different? What explains the differences?
- Why is there a prohibition from eating the blood of animals? How does this connect with the use of blood in sacrifices? Consider Leviticus 17:10-12.
