Questions for Further Study or Group Discussion:

1. Read Psalm 133. How does this psalm fit within the collection of the Song of Ascents? As we consider our own journey to our eternal home, how does this psalm fix your eyes unto the Lord?
2. What does the psalmist say is good and pleasant?
3. What are the two similes that the psalmist uses? How do these similes help show how unity among God’s people is good and pleasant?
4. What are ways that you can strive after this good and pleasant unity in the new year?
5. How does this psalm point us to the gospel? How can you take this psalm and make it your prayer this week?

Memory Verse of the Week:

1 Peter 3:8 Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind. (ESV)
