Questions for Further Study or Group Discussion:

1. Read Philemon 1-7. Where are you most tempted to seek refreshment in your life apart from the gospel of grace?
2. How does Paul identify himself at the start of this letter? Who does he include in the letter’s greeting and how does he speak of them? How should the gospel give you a different perspective to your current season in life?
3. What does Paul thank God for? In what ways is faith toward Christ and love for others connected? If there is a disconnect in your life between these two, why might that be?
4. How has your heart been refreshed by the church? In what ways might the Lord be wanting to use you to be a refreshment to others?
