Youth Group Summer Kick-Off

Here's a "last minute" reminder that youth group will meet tonight 7-830pm at church. We have some fun planned for the great outdoors. We'll also have ice cream. If anyone wants to bring a favorite topping to share, I'm sure no one will complain.

When we meet for youth group this summer, each gathering we're going to take some time to look at the life and habits of some famous missionaries. As our youth are growing and maturing, the examples of faithful followers of Christ can inspire selfless choices for the sake of God's glory. My prayer is that our youth would be counter-cultural in their desires to deny self and live for Christ. Join me in praying for our youth.

June 22 - No Youth Group (Sacred Road Missions Trip)

BTW: No Kid360 tonight... Just youth group.... We are, though, welcoming our new 6th graders tonight!

BTW2: For Joyplosion, we would like to make three videos that help highlight 3 different aspects of our memory verse (Hebrews 12:1-2). We will show these videos each night during the opening assemblies. I have rough outlines for each video. I'm looking for some youth who would be willing to flesh out those outlines and do the acting on camera. I'm thinking we'll make arrangements to meet this weekend... Just reply and let me know if your son/daughter would be interested in helping out. Thanks.
