DSCN7552.JPGThe Oak Hills Nursery exists to serve the congregation of Oak Hills Presbyterian Church by providing a safe and nurturing environment for the youngest among us. With this in mind, the Nursery ministry has two primary goals: to love children through meeting their spiritual, emotional, and physical needs by offering a safe and secure place for them and to love parents by loving their children and communicating clearly our policies and procedures. Based on our current needs, the nursery is divided into three rooms: Infants (not yet walking), Toddlers (starting to walk), and Preschoolers (walking through age 3).

PromiseLand (Children’s Church)

DSCN7557.JPGPromiseLand meets every Sunday morning during the sermon portion of the worship service. It is designed to give children ages four through eight years-old an opportunity to interact with the Word of God using a curriculum specifically developed for their age group. The two main divisions are 4 and 5 year-olds, and 6-8 year-olds (classes may be subdivided as needed). During this time, teachers lead the children through a time of prayer, a Bible lesson, and an activity page which helps the children apply what they have learned.
