  1. Read Psalm 119:9-16 (read the whole Psalm if you have the time). How would you categorize this poem? What is the theme? What does the author want to emphasize?
  2. Why is keeping your “way” pure so important? What is purity? How does the Word of God help keep our way pure?
  3. The psalmist states that he seeks God with all his heart and that he delights (an action of the heart) in God’s statues. How is a pursuit of God and enjoyment in his Word connected? Or, in other words, how are they inseparable?
  4. Write down all of the verbs the psalmist uses to describe the activities he does with the Word. What would doing these look like in your life?
