1. Read Mark 14:26-50. What are the fatal steps/actions of the disciples that led them to "falling away"? How does Jesus warn them?
2. What causes Jesus to be greatly distressed and troubled (v. 33)? What causes him the most sorrow?
3. Consider the repeated phrase of Jesus in verse 27 and 49. What does this reveal about Jesus? How would this assist us to face trials of various kinds?
4. Where is there grace in these verses? How does this hope in future redemption and grace sustain faith?
