  1. Read Psalm 92. According to the psalmist, what is “good”? Why is this good?
  2. Verse 4 gives the reason that it is so good to give thanks. Personalize this verse. Has the Lord made you glad? How so? What causes you to sing for joy? What undercuts your gladness and joy?
  3. The “stupid man” and the Lord are contrasted in verses 6-8. What is different between the two of them? What does verse 7 say about the things of this world and the love of this world?
  4. In verses 9-15 the evildoers and the righteous are contrasted, much like Psalm 1. What is the difference between evildoers and the righteous? What does it mean to be “planted in the house of the Lord”?         
  5. How is thanksgiving connected with righteousness?
