  1. Read Philippians 3:2-11. Who are the “dogs,” “evildoers,” and “those who mutilate the flesh”? How is being the “real circumcision” the opposite?
  2. What does it mean to have confidence in the flesh? Why would anyone want to have confidence in the flesh? What did Paul (or anyone) hope to “gain” from this confidence in the flesh?
  3. How does Christ become of such surpassing worth to Paul? What does Christ give that Paul wanted to gain? How?
