  1. Read Hebrews 10:1-14. What does the author say about the Law? If the Law was/is ineffective, what was/is its purpose?
  2. Why is it impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins? What other methods do humans employ to “take away sins”?
  3. What are the differences between the priests and Christ? Why is Christ superior to the priests?
  4. What reality is the author speaking about when he says “make perfect” (v. 1), “having once been cleansed” (v. 2), “take away sins” (v. 4), and “those who are being sanctified” (v. 14)? Are these the same? Why or why not?
  5. Consider Hebrews 10:13 in light of Romans 8:34. What is the significance for believers that Christ is at the right hand of God?
