  1. Read Isaiah 52:13-53:12. Who is this Servant Song about? Why?
  2. How do the people perceive the Servant? Consider 52:14, 53:2-3, 5, & 8. What causes this misunderstanding of the Servant?
  3. How does this Servant Song talk about the Servant as a substitute? For whom is he a substitute? How is he a substitute?
  4. Why is it so good for us that Jesus is our substitute? What do we gain from the substitution?
