Questions for Further Study or Group Discussion:

  1. Read 1 Peter 4:7-11. When you read the phrase “the end of all things,” what comes to your mind? In view of Christ’s redeeming work, what is Peter speaking about?
  2. How are “self-controlled” and “sober-minded” related? How do these two qualities impact our prayers?
  3. Why are love and hospitality vital at “the end of all things”? What does Peter say about these qualities? Why?
  4. Who has received a gift of God’s grace? What are we supposed to do with these gifts? How does God aid and direct the use of our gifts?
  5. What keeps you from being a “good steward” of God’s grace to you? What sort of gift of grace do you have? How can you use this to serve Oak Hills? those outside of the church?

Memory Verse of the Week:

1 Peter 4:10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace. (ESV)
