Questions for Further Study or Group Discussion:

  1. Read Titus 2:1-10. In contrast to the false teachers in Ch. 1, what does Paul urge Titus to teach?
  2. What categories of people does Paul address in this chapter? What are some important implications of this?
  3. Which of these categories describe you? How does this chapter encourage, challenge, and convict you to live out the gospel?
  4. How does the community of grace, presented here, counter a discipleship that is merely consumeristic and convenient?
  5. Looking at v. 5, 8, and 10, what is the aim of a life that accords with sound doctrine?

Memory Verse of the Week:

Ephesians 4:15-16 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
