Questions for Further Study or Group Discussion:
- Read Ephesians 1:7-10. What is redemption? Consider some other passages: Mark 10:45, Romans 3:24-25, Romans 8:23, 1 Corinthians 1:30, Ephesians 4:30, & Titus 2:14.
- Why is redemption so good?
- What are the means of redemption? How is redemption made possible for you and me?
- Consider verse 10 in light of Colossians 1:18-20. What does Paul have in mind when he speaks of the summing up of all things?
- Paul emphasizes that we have redemption “in Christ.” What is the import of those two words? For evangelism? For assurance?
Memory Verse of the Week:
Ephesians 1:7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace. (ESV)
