Ephesians: Walk Worthy
Of Calling
- A Worthy Walk
- Manifested in Unity
- Undergirded by Charity
Questions for Further Study or Group Discussion:
- Read Ephesians 4:1-3. What are the practical implications for the Christian life that Paul has spent three chapters unpacking theology before giving commands?
- What is the “calling”? The word translated as “worthy” can be translated “balanced.” With what should the walk be balanced?
- Why is unity a mark of a worthy walk? Think about what Paul has taught in Ephesians 2.
- Do we create unity? Who creates unity? What is our role with unity? Why is unity among Christians so hard and complicated?
- Why is verse 2 so essential to verses 1 & 3? How does one grow in these Christian virtues?
Memory Verse of the Week:
Ephesians 4:1 I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called. (ESV)
