Questions for Further Study or Group Discussion:

  1. Read Ephesians 4:17-24. What does Paul say about unbelievers in this passage? What is the condition of their hearts? Their minds?
  2. What hope of rescue does an unbeliever have?
  3. According to Paul, how are believers different from unbelievers? Consider Romans 6:6, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Galatians 2:20, and Colossians 3:9-10.
  4. Consider the Reflection on page 3 in the bulletin. Why is repentance vital to starting and continuing the Christian life?  
  5. What areas of the old self do you still need to repent of? In what ways are you seeking to be renewed in the spirit of your mind?
